Question. "What do you need to find the part I require"

Answer.  "When contacting us please have the Make & the Model number (not the serial number) to hand." (not the serial number) to hand."

Question. "Why is it such a problem obtaining a part for my equipment?"

Answer. "A large amount of Makes are not made by the companies who's name is on the front, i.e. The make Goodmans is a badge name used by suppliers like Comet.  Quite a few of Goodmans video recorders are made by Samsung. The Televisions by Bush. But then most of Bush televisions are made by a Turkish company who supply the same inside's to lots of other companies i.e. JVC!"

Question. "Why are some parts so expensive?"

Answer. "If a part is designated by the manufacturer as a safety item, then only that specification part can be supplied. This normally means a genuine part from the manufacturer, with no alternative available."

When inquiring about parts please supply us with the Make & Model of the unit, not the serial number.

Asking for a price on say a Microwave plate (tray) that is 12inc across will not help. But we can help if you state the Microwave is a Toshiba model TR7300.

On-Line Ordering Problems - If you have a check out problem with an order you have complied there are a few things to try. 

1: By far the most common problem we are aware of is that "Pop-ups" have been disabled in your browser. (Our order form is a pop-up) Just enable pop-ups until you have completed your order. You can always reset your browser after completing your order.

2: Make sure your Internet Browser has "Cookies" enabled. (This is required by our web site to allow you return and add another item/s).

3: Disable any "Anti Add" Software. The reason is that the "Check out" window is in the form of a pop-up. Anti Add" software is fooled into thinking it is a unsolicited advert!

Mistakes - If we make any mistakes, we put our hands up and say so, then try our best to resolve the problem.

Complaints - We welcome complaints, this way we are able to identify a problem area then act upon them. 

Your personal information

We promise not to give out your personal information to anybody else. We hate it, if we end up on a million junk mail lists after placing an order with someone, and we wouldn't subject you to that! If you ask to be on our mailing list, we will email you from time to time when we get new products or have a sale. If you request not to be on our list, or if you change your mind, just email us and let us at remove@signalsuk.com , and you won't hear a peep from us again!

Any information we receive for payments i.e. bank details or credit card details are shredded once payment/s have cleared.

Orders received by 3pm are generally dispatched the same working day via Royal Mail.

Orders for out of stock items are normally cancelled unless specially required to hold until spares become available.

There are minimum order thresholds under which carriage and handling is charged to Account Holders. (35.00ukp at June 2012) For none Account holders the postage rates are as shown at the Checkout. Please contact the sales desk for the current rates. A surcharge will be incurred for morning and Saturday delivery requests i.e. Special Delivery (SD) or for any customer specified delivery method. Non-account customers will be charged carriage and handling regardless of value of orders.

Orders for items not held in stock are to your special requirements and are not cancellable. (You will be informed of this on placing your order, or it will be displayed on our web site as "Special Order" or "SO"

We reserve  the right to alter the specifications and prices quoted at any time, although we make every effort is to advise customers of changes.

Guarantee:

Spare parts are subject to the manufacturer's guarantee. This relates to the part being supplied in working order and of merchantable quality but usually excludes any minimum working life after fitting.

Product guarantees are from date of supply.

Should a product have been misused or, in the case of equipment, a repair attempted, the guarantee is nullified.

Unless proved to be faulty upon receipt, Test Equipment must be returned for repair. To arrange this, contact Customer Services. No liability is accepted for consequential damage resulting from any product or if the product has been modified or is used in an application outside that recommended by Signals UK or the manufacturers it represents.

Returns:

If the product has been supplied correctly and has been received in good condition Signals UK will not normally accept return for credit. (Were returns are accepted a 50% restocking charge will apply) If items are faulty and have to be returned, a returns number must be obtained from our Customer Services Department and must be quoted on the advice with the goods together with a description of the fault.

Shortages and non-deliveries must be advised within 7 days in writing.

None returnable items:

Certain items will NOT be eligible for return, i.e. Semiconductor device's (Transistors, ICs, Diodes). Transformers, Vacuum bags, filters (that have been opened) & any item that has been soldered.

Technical Advice:

The Company will under no circumstances be liable for any loss or damage caused arising from technical or none technical advice or goods supplied.

Delivery

Price quoted is for U.K. Delivery only - If you are ordering from another country, please call or email us.
If the item is in stock we will despatch your order within 5 working days - but please allow up to 21 days for delivery. Should there be any problems with your order, we will contact you immediately to notify you of the delay. Should this be unsatisfactory, we will, without any delay, offer you a full refund.

Terms and Conditions Of Sale

a) Cancellations - Goods being cancelled must be done so within 7 working days, beginning the day after receipt of the goods. Signals UK will refund any monies within 30 days of cancellation (a 50% restocking charge will apply). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
b) Cooling off period - Goods maybe returned, but a re-socking fee will normally be applied. In addition we must be notified of any returning goods by phoning our number show at "Contact us" or emailing signalsuk.com. We will try and refund within 30 days of cancellation (a 50% restocking charge will apply) (Signals UK reserves the right to request that the customer meets the cost of returning the goods). This does not affect you statutory rights as a consumer.
c) Faulty goods - In the event of goods being faulty, please return to Signals UK for a replacement or refund, goods must be rejected within 7 working days beginning the day after receipt of the goods. If you have any queries regarding faulty goods please email signalsuk.com.

How to Return/Exchange

Please note a returns number must be issued. No returns will be accepted with out one. Please keep all packaging and return the goods as they were sent to you.
Include your name, address, order number, tel.no. and whether you would like a replacement or refund.
Take your parcel(s) to your nearest post office and send them to the address shown at "Contact us"It is in your interest in case of loss to obtain a Proof of Postage certificate from the post office (No charge)

We want you to shop with us with total confidence. All personal information collected at time of ordering is transferred from our website into our secure database and facilitates the process when you come to order again. Our secure server software fully encrypts all your personal information including credit/debit card number, name and address. None of this information is made available to third parties.
